Meet the team

I’ve been cycling in various forms for over 40 years, starting with a paper round in school and gradually progressing to participating in road and gravel races, gran fondos, and bikepacking across countries.

As a qualified PE teacher, I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world, teaching in international schools, organising sports trips, and connecting with cycling communities wherever I’ve lived.

I’ve been able to organise tours for friends to Italy, France, Switzerland, Slovenia, Norway, Czech Republic and Japan and led many rides and events in these countries and more. For me, cycling represents freedom and exploration – being outdoors, riding at your own pace, and feeling at ease with both yourself and the environment.

Ultimate Cycling Adventures was created to share my passion for cycling and travel with others, guiding them to off-the-beaten-path destinations and offering unique experiences they won’t find anywhere else.
